These tracks were originally from a 1993 demo cassette written and recorded by Christopher Newman, just after his work with NYC metallers Prime Evil Council, and just before his stint with doom legends the Blood Farmers. A demo tape Newman planned to use to recruit and form a new band. A demo presumed lost and forgotten. In 2003, a long time friend of Newman, multi-instrumentalist Rob Kamen accidentally discovered a dub of the demo tape in his collection. Along with drummer John Warrington, Kamen, recognizing the quality of the songwriting, sheer decadent character and significance of its source, was gracious enough to re-record-produce Newman' original demo into a full length album, having Newman fly in to lay down his signature Lemmy-esque meets Alice Cooper vocals. The result is a classic old school, hard rock-metal collection now considered the long anticipated, never realized follow up to the seminal Dark Glory demo by his former Prime Evil Council band. All the dark, campy horror characteristics are present, backed by a killer production and stellar musicianship from Kamen/Warrington. This album is a rare glimpse into the past creative world of Christopher N before his transistion into the realms of experimental music.
